Why I find Garmin sports watch best
I got my very first sports watch twelve years ago. It was (and still is) one of the best sports watch on the market. I felt really pro when having a watch with GPS and pulse band. So sad I didn't understand anything about pulse rate. It was definitely not necessary to have takhle nadupané sports watch at this young age. From all the functions I used only time, stpowatch and alarm.
Anyway, this sports watch wasn't cheap. And I got pissed off always when the battery died and I had to buy a new one. This used to happen cca once in two years. Furthermore. A watch chain used to get destroyed as well about once in two years. So every year I had to invest money in my watch. And it always took sooooo long (in the number of weeks) to get my watch fixed!
After 5years I lost my patience. I wanted to have a reliable sports watch. I wanted to have watch which last long and to which I don't have to invest more and more money. Very good service was one on my high priorities.
I checked what my friends use and all the pros and cons of their devices. I got lot of positive reviews to Garmin sports watch. Especially, their service seemed to be excellent.
I went for Garmin Forerunner 610 with HR premium pulse band. I tell you something. I had no problems att all with these watch during our long five-years-lasting relationship. Only once, my pulse band vypověděl službu. It took just a few minutes to deal the service and within one week I had a working pulse band back.
But změna je život and I went for a bit better newer model Garmin Forerunner 230. I decided to keep using the pulse band as I find the pulse measuring without a band insufficient and I like to keep my watch over my clothes in winter.
I am super happy with my choice. These watch has all functions I need (nowadays, there are lot of "cool" watches with thousands of functions which I would never use), it is easy to use them, they have very precise GPS and pulse measuring and they work without any problems.
Last week, my pulse band stopped to work. Probably, it got vysokohorskou nemoc. It took less than one minute to deal the appoinment at Garmin service department. One day later, I was there. It took less than three minutes (including small talk and photo shooting) to have a new working pulse band.
