I am the Czech Champion!
Finally a perfect race!!!
It was the last ski-o weekend of this season. I didn't even plan to take part dooe to school praxis. When I found out these races will be held in the similar terrain as World Cup Germany round next year, I started to consider to come. Furthermore, there was a Czech middle distance championship on Saturday. It was quite complicated to go to ski-o races as I was supposed to be at International travel fair Holiday World in Prague from thursday till sunday. But the will to take part in the ski-o races was strong enough so I managed to make myself free for one day - the cahmpionship saturday.
My final rpeparation was standing 1%hours per day at the fair kiosk. I felt really tired when I came to the saturdays competition. But I was relax and really enjoyed the course. It could be the lack of sport activities which made me to push hard and no expectations led to a calm head which avoided any mistake!
I knew it was a good performance, but I had no idea what could be the result. When my dad told me I won I didn't beleive him. I knew there were really all good ski-o girls from last couple of years. I didn't even beleive my eyes when I saw the results with my name on the top of all 30names. Jopp, 30 girls took part this year in the W21elite class at Czech ski-o race! Ski-o is alive! :)
There was one more race on Saturday afternoon - national cup sprint. I ended 3rd but not much behind. And very satisfied :) I decided to stay overnight (and join the mens WC bronze medal celebration party) and left 5o'clock in the morning on Sunday. I changed my sportclothes to higheels, dress and blazer, but I decided to keep my first senior medal in the blazer pocket :)
