Review to SWIX gloves
Which gloves do you want?
Hm, I don't know. Some gloves for racing. But my fingers use to get frozen easily. So some warmes ones. Which ones would you recommend me?
I would recommend you SWIX AtlasX, SWIX NaosX, SWIX PegasusX or SWIX CompetitionX.
That's how my conversation with SWIX specialist looked like. I would prefer most to test all these models on my own so that I can make this super important decision. I managed to test model AtlasX (which I didn't find super practical for racing) and CompetitioX.
I fell in love immediately with those CompetitionX. They weight like nothing, are super comfortable, fit perfectly, have a leather palm with anti-sliding silicone grip and GORE® WINDSTOPPER® on back of hand. I can't imagine better gloves. (No surprise they were invented with a cooperation of best skiers such as Bø, Svendsen or Northug). There was only one question: will my fingers stay warm in this slim gloves?
I couldn't wait to have this treasure home. I took them immediately for the first upcoming skiing session. It was just above zero and windy. I would say perfect conditions for these gloves. I went for a hard fast training. And the results? Gloves were awesomly awesome! Eleven points out of ten! Hope for many races in weather around zero because these gloves will definitely make me a company to hunt some good results!
And what about second pair of gloves? As I didn't want SWIX AtlasX I was making a decision between SWIX NaosX and SWIX PegasusX. Swix specialist racommended me the PegasusX model.
When I got them I was a was a little bit unsure. They seemed to be really thin. Almost like the SWIX CompetitionX model. And I wanted to have some at least a little bit warmer gloves.
Anyway, I took them with me to one training. When we reached the place, it was only plus one degree, raining and foggy - just a common weather recently. I was soooo sure my fingers will get frozen immediately and I won't be able to finish my training.
During first minutes, my fingers were really getting colder and colder. But after a while I realized my finger are actually warm! How is that possible? Gloves are totally soaked with water! My fingers should be frozen!
It must have been the neopren from which are these gloves made of on the back of hand. It was really a great surprise, that my fingers can stay warm in thin gloves when it's raining. So if search for gloves to keep your fingers warm in wet conditions, definitely go for SWIX PegasusX!
