Food Intolerance and Food Detective
If you have read any of my articles, you know how much I have been struggling with my health.The poor health is my biggest problem of not being a in a better shape. Without being health in a long period, there is no way to be faster and stronger.
I tried to figure out symptoms making my immune system weak. I read couple of books and articles about how to strenghten the immunity. Besides others, I have learnt about food intolerace. To explain easy and shortly: the food intolerance is a a negative reaction of organismus to food. It is similar to food allergies, but the reaction is not so strong and its impact is not recognizable immediately (usually after couple of days to weeks). Organs have difficulties (or are not able at all) to diggest a particular food. When the "intolerated food" gets in the small intestine, the intestine use a lot of energy to deal with the food which leads to weakening of the immune system.
About 45% of population have any food intolerace. According to the Australian NSW Food Authority, symptoms vary from bloating, migraines, headaches, cough, runny nose, feeling under the weather, stomach acheIrritable bowel to hives.
I got really curious to test myself as I believed the food intolerance could be a solution to my health struggling. I googled options of taking the test in the Czech Republic. There are quite many medical centres offering this testing but all of them costed more than 10 000 CZK. Then I found also a home-testing effered by VITAL LIFE diagnostics. Their product Food Detective seemed to provide same results and the price was 4xlower (about 2400CZK)!!!! I read couple of reviews to be sure this test is as good as tests from medicel centres. I was really happy all customes consider them absolutely equal! So I decided to test this product.

I got the Food Detective by post. It was a small pack. I was wondering how can be this little box able to check my health. But it was great! The pack contained all I needed for a proper and reliable test!
Wash hands, put all components out and start! The pack includes one A4 paper with instructions step by step. Easy peasy! :)
You will take a small drop of your blood. Then you take a board with samples of 50kinds of food. You pour a special solutions on the samples in a specific order stated in the intructions.
After exactly 40minutes you get your results! The samples which turned purple indicates food you have intolerance to. It showed I have intolerance to a cow milk.
I can't believe how simple and fast this test was! Just think about it! You can do it on your own anytime it fits you! You don't need anything except from the packed product. You get your results immediately! It is at least 4x cheaper than any test from medical centre. It feel really creditable! AND!!! It can help you to dispose your healthy troubles! I was thinking about some negative point of this product. Honestly, I haven't found any. It is of course possible to get a handbook which can help you to live the life without any kind of food. It includes alternatives to every food and gives tips for some recipes too.
My results - cow milk intolerance, came to a surprise. I skipped to drink milk since the beginning of February and I haven't been sick since that. It is just a bit over one month so I can't do any big conclusions yet. But I will let you know in couples of months how I feel about living without cow milk.
